Class of 2021: Graduation Information

Graduation Information

All Potential Graduates:

Graduation is a wonderful and prestigious time in your life and you should be proud of all that you have done in order to earn the right to be called a high school graduate.  Mogadore High School and its staff have planned activities for the culmination of your senior year and you can expect them to be memorable and pleasant experiences that you will cherish for many years to come.

It is our hope that you participate fully and enjoy each of these activities while keeping in mind that they are all school-sponsored events, which are governed by school rules.  In order for these events to be safe and enjoyable for all, rules must be established and enforced.  This letter is designed to inform you of our expectations from you.  Please read the items below carefully and keep in mind that participation in the graduation ceremony is a privilege and not your right.

FOR ALL YEAR-END ACTIVITIES INVOLVING THE SENIOR CLASS

  • You may participate in all of the senior activities and graduation ceremony if you have the required credits and you have passed all sections of the Ohio Graduation Test.

  • You may participate in all the senior activities, but not the graduation ceremony if you do not have the required credits to graduate, and/or have not passed all sections of the Ohio Graduation Test.

GRADUATION AUDIENCE:

In order for any graduation program to be completely successful, the audience must also play a particular role in the ceremony.  Clapping, whistling, shouting, or any other loud or abusive behavior is inappropriate at a commencement ceremony.  After the graduate’s name is called as he/she proceeds across the stage, a short biographical statement will be read about each graduate.  Please help us make this day a day that you and your families will remember fondly.
