On Wednesday, March 15th, O. H. Somers fourth grade students participated a Link Up! performance, in collaboration with the Akron Symphony Orchestra and Carnegie Hall at Akron Civic Theater. The students performed selections such as Ode to Joy and New World Symphony on the recorder, as well as vocal selections such as Oye!, alongside 20+ other school districts in the area. This experience gave our students the opportunity to not only watch an orchestra perform, but allowed them to perform with the orchestra from their seats with the rest of the audience.
