Mogadore is proud of sophomore Grace Steffen for competing in the Port-Summit Rotary Speech Contest on Saturday, April 6th at Springfield High School. She was one of three students to represent the local chapter and she did a wonderful job. She would also like to acknowledge Leah Willison for helping her co-write her speech and Mr. Lawrence who helped Grace with her delivery and elocution.
The purpose of the speech is to apply the principles of Rotary International’s 4 Way Test to a current ethical issue. The 4-Way Test asks: "Of the things we think, say or do:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
