Dear Parents,
Welcome Back! I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Break and a Happy New Year!!!
In January, we have seen an increase in the number of car riders. I wanted to take this opportunity to reiterate and review drop off and dismissal procedures that will help minimize wait times.
Morning Drop Off: Students may enter through door 1 and 2. Please be sure to pull all the way up to the second driveway on Herbert Street to drop off your student; this will help prevent a backup onto Mogadore Road and decrease wait times. It is imperative that your student exit the car where you stop, please do not keep your student in the car and pull up to drop them off closer to the door. Students must exit the car from the curb side for their safety. Parents are asked to remain in their car for drop off. If you need assistance please let the person on duty know, they will be happy to help.
Dismissal: We dismiss car riders from door 2, facing Herbert Street beginning at 3:00. All cars will line up along Herbert Street. Car tags were passed out at the beginning of the school year, they are clearly marked on the back with a tag indicating 2024-2025 school year. If the tag you are using does not have the school year date, please call the office to get your new tags. This year's numbers are not the same as last year, so please make sure you have the correct number posted, this is for the safety of the students.
Please have your car tag clearly posted so that it is visible to those calling for families (do not remove your tag until after your student has entered the car). Parents, please remain in your car as teachers and staff will bring your student/s to the car.
Due to heavy volume during this time of the year, please follow the recommended times listed here for pickup.
# 1 - 70 please be ready at 2:50 PM;
# 71 - 150 arrive at 3:10 PM; and
# 151 - last number at 3:15 PM.
Park pick up is still an option for those that would prefer.
