In December, sixteen of our 6th graders in Wildcats LEAD visited the Haven of Rest. It was a very eye-opening experience for them. They went on a tour of all three buildings and ate lunch there.
They gathered toiletries, new hats, gloves, and socks from O. H. Somers students and also donated 75 new fleece blankets. In all, it was over 200lbs of items (they weigh the items donated).
This is the fourth year doing this service project, and Haven of Rest is always so thankful!
